its the first day of 2008. time for new beginnings. eight is the number for new beginnings.
i have two other days i consider new years days. january 2, is the day i surrendered my life to God, and made Jesus my Lord, and march 2, my birthday. both days are really important to me.
i love new beginnings. old things are passed away. behold! all things are become new. God’s mercies are new every morning. in Christ i am a new creature. i have newness of life.
so im looking forward to the new year ahead. today i will play, relax, and enjoy all the Lord has done for me of late. and tomorrow i will start working on my goals for this year. the two months between january 2 and march 2 is when i work on making changes. it gives me something to work toward, and by my birthday i should have new habits in place.
thats my goal.

May each day be a new beginning for you and your beau!!! Blessings to you and your family of pets and such…thanks for the encouragement on the golden retriever pup which we have decided to get. We went to meet the possible mother the other day, she is frisky, but gentle and mellow of spirit…we are looking forward to the new addition in the spring of 2008.
Blessings, Graciously

I’m not all that fond of change, but I’ll certainly agree with you here. Change in a positive direction is good, even if I trip over something. As silly as it sounds, I think that finally getting that huge bookcase moved by myself has gotten me into gear. I even have the vaccuum cleaner out and ready. Best wishes for a joyous and blessed new year.Peace, Doc

New beginnings are good. But then who’d want bad new beginnings, Duh!
I like the idea of timelines. I have a timeline of submitting my dissertation proposal by March and interviewing research participants by July. In August I’d like to take a break and go to Costa Rica. It’s one of those things I’m gonna do it just cause I wanna (even if I don’t have any money). Barring Costa Rica I may go to Michigan in July for a seminar dealing with trauma and loss in children. It’s a subject close to my heart and I want to become certified as a trauma specialist. I notice other bloggers always talk about what’s close to their hearts and that’s mine.
I wish you success in meeting your new beginnings timelines.
I always love to hear bout you and the beau. It soundls like it’s building into a wonderful relationship.
Have a Blessed and Happy New Year!

By the way, I meant to ask you when I read you received a tennis bracelet for Christmas. Are you going to be taking tennis lessons now? Or maybe you already know how to dance around a tennis court in a sexy tennis dress? If you don’t play tennis, get a sexy tennis dress anyway and wear it for other physical endeavors.
Just a thought!
