i have waited30 years for this. it isnt for the status, as i couldnt care less about prestige. it is for the beauty. having a ring on my finger has always been natural for me. like it belongs there. i have had cheaper ones before, that in the end seemed to truly reflect the relationship that they represented. where are they now? lost, hocked for little return, given away.
this one isnt cheap. and it isnt coming off.

Thanks for the brief and insightful posting on my site. Although I was somewhat disappointed to read how someone might be able to relate.
I also found this most recent post to be of great interest as well. It appears as though we’re both stuck in that same trench; which makes the Grand Canyon pale in comparison. Refering to what exactly??
The ring issue. I still wear mine as well- from the glory days when I was once married; which are now long gone. I really like to try to grasp onto the (somehwat of a) reality that my ring is indeed a one of a kind "artistic prototype" and almost belongs in a type of gallery- which by the way is indeed accurate.
But the reality of the true meaning of it… I still wear it on (now on my right hand) to remind me of her. Guess that I’m still left hoping of her return someday. -Or maybe perhaps still trying to find a way of escaping reality.
Some people might think or perceive that… Why do people such as us want to be continualy reminded of something which didn’t quite work- to say the least. To that I personally don’t have an answer.
In conclusion, hoping that you’ll also drop by again sometime soon for some more contributions and writtings. Also for NAE- can you also see Russia from your place. Oh well, bad joke.
