winter prowls on stealthy feet
circling the land
where summer held her golden court
and thrust a heavy hand
silently she bleeds the sky
of color and of light
quietly she apprehends
the day and then the night
soft at first her footsteps fall
along the streets and ways
stealing in to take the throne
till all her will obeys
first the leaves fall carelessly
their colors all askew
then the northern winds do blow
freezing all the dew
soon the ices and the rains
come to play and dance
while i and my beloved stay
inside in winters trance
watching as the wind and rain
and snow play out their roles
sipping tea and chocolate
warming both our souls
winter prowls on stealthy feet
her first appearance mute
silencing the world with cold
until the springs first shoot

Summary
November 28
goodbye
life will kick you in the ass
I dont care to write anymore blogs.
Truth be told I was "killed" a few nights ago
I am only here as ghost…
It is only fitting as I killed two
and now they have killed me
confused?
dont be
tangled web we all weave.
we dont invite them
nor choose them
but yet they come
so uninvited
others angry at the outcome
not my desire
my destiny?
i am not angry
nor confused
i understand
it is life
take it as you will
I dont deny love
as told to me from above
i perchanced
a look in the book?
two souls
destined
for greatness.
i love more than others
i understand the brothers
with those words
i do stand
apart
and
united
in our
glory be to the
father
the son
and the
holy ghost
amen.i wrote this for ricky :(

Hi Ms. Lizard,
I do like winter during this time of year and a pretty snowfall. In today’s world we can cozy up by the fire with our laptops and snuggle in to our chairs.
I had to chuckle because my head too acts like a channel surfer with satellite television.
Fortunately, we are at times able to keep our thoughts on one channel.
Did you write winter prowls? It’s wonderful.
Have a wonderful week and we will see you around the blog, Greg
