As far as I know, I’m not dyslexic, but as I get older, I seem to get confused with letters and numbers. Don’t know if it’s something that can happen to you in later life. Maybe it’s just old age. lol

My brother is dyslexic and he doesn’t let it slow him down at all… Sorry I haven’t been around. Seems my bloody modem went on the fritz….Stopping by the cable company on my way home from work for a replacement. Hopefully, back on tonight.

I know a couple of people who are dyslexic and they are extremely intelligent. Both of them.

you are right. dyslexia is a genius. Other people might see them as a stupid, but for me I don’t think like that. They are a genius in particular or specific thing. I read some article said that dyslexia is good in some way, but they may have problem in communicate with other people.

– I came here the way from nett’s Space and this blog is good to see, because my son (8 yrs.) is dyslectic and in his 2nd year of school, it seems that he has (in fact: we all) to proove more problems with ignorant teachers than with lecture, writing and maths.

That way, going out with "our family has a problem with dyslexia", I met more people who suddenly told me, they also do, I ever thought would be arround. But most of the time, people are ashamed for something wich isn’t their fault. I think, one should talk about it, like you do.

I am so sorry that the schoolyard bullies grew up and started doing this shit. I tried to kill one (literally) when I was about 13. I only remember what started it, everything going red, and some time later, other kids prying my hands from around his throat while I was on top of him on a cement floor. Knowing what could be released from the depths made me into a pacifist for the remainder of my life (mostly.) When I feel it coming out, I am able to stop it (one exception in almost 50 years) but I am feeling it coming on again with the person(s) leaving comments like the one below to "get to me" by hurting my friends. Let this also serve as yet another warning to the fools playing this game. When I am ready, I shall get you, even if I lose my site in the process!

Truer words have never been spoken. It’s hard enough to learn somethings in life, much less how to learn things differently than the teacher wants you to…I can’t imagine how hard it would be for a person with dyslexia to learn things the ‘old fashioned way’. Just thinking of the memory work involved of the people who tried to act ‘normal’.
Is your weather as nice as mine’s been? This is the time of year that I really like.

Hay!! Sounds like your weather has been wonderful. Yesteray and today we have had sun, and it is like 50 degrees out!!! BUT~~~next weekend they are saying more snow! Oh well, it is winter yet, and i really am not looking foward to the hot, humid summer we will have here!!! it is too bad that people are so stupid about people who have dyslexia. As if anyone in this world is perfect!! As far as what is going on in Doc’s site and yours, i am not sure what is going on!! When you post on my site or Doc, is it really you or can these people pretend to be you??? i am not a qualified computer person……in other words, i have learned what i do know by myself…….no lessons or training.
