my sister called and left me a message thursday. she said she had important stuff to talk about. she sounded excited, so i knew it was good news. i called her as soon as i heard the message. not being one to waste time with pleasantries, she told me she wanted me to buy her house. she and her beau are buying another, two doors down from our mother, and hadnt found a suitable buyer yet. she said it then hit her… ask me! i want to move back so sorely, and they want me back as ardently. i am quite pleased with this idea, and i have such peace in my heart about it. i have asked God for a house to move into, which would make the transition of our moving much smoother. and then i get this call from my sis. she has sent me pictures, and i like what i see. there is plenty of room to change the colors and decor, add carpeting, and make it home. there is a big fenced yard for the dogs, a finished basement, and a small upstairs. i know this is the answer to my prayers!
i am so ready to go back to the land of rain and green fire, where water falls down rocky cliffs, the air is sweet, the trees stay gree when the snows come, and the ocean is within reach.

lovely photos …the trees are amazing ……what a beautiful place no wonder you want to move back there !
thanks for the b/day & anniversary greetings :-)…having them on the same day saves Jeff having to remember two dates ..lol

That "fire and ice" picture is gorgeous!
I don’t suppose your sister could find me a small house while she’s at it, could she? This monstrosity was fine for 2 adults 6 (or more) kids, and at least 3 or 4 dogs at any given time. It is just a bit much for Bittle, Squeaky, and me. Also, thanks for your supportive comments. I have arranged five funerals in my life and do not wish it on anyone else. I get the simplicity I want and others don’t have to be concerned with details. Your pictures are beautiful. That area was to be part of my Ph.D. graduation present to myself – a backpacking trip through some Canadian parks and mountains, the Pacific Northwest, and the Shasta range. Oh. well. I had two children by the time I finally got it and they didn’t appear non-wobbly enough to go do much hiking.
Peace and Prayers, Doc
nice to have a sibling who’s eager to have you live nearby!!!
Glad you like the video. I also like that waterfall. Reminds me of a place I went to just a few weeks ago called Fall Creek Falls Tn. Take-r-eazie. LK;-)
Thanks for having my back…it is very much appreciated!!
As I said, I found it puzzling how some of those searches found me. Others I found just plain funny. One is due to a comment by you, I believe, when you responded with the poem about Heffalumps and Woozles. Many of the less desireable ones seemed to be hits on the comments made during the "inellectual discussion" during the recent web war. I should probably delete those, but I may still need them as evidence due to threats of complaints to the APA and my licensing board. I also think Nae may have been correct about having too much time on my hands. I do seem to get myself into more trouble at those times. May I rely on you to be a second conscience for me and to whack me if I wander too far ’round the bend?
Peace, Doc
so nice pics, thanks for your comments and i feel much more better now
